Scheduled Paid Breaks and short under 5 minute breaks will be logged using the "Break" button.
Scheduled Unpaid Meal Breaks will be logged using the "Break- Lunch" button.
Please note breaks will be monitored; any breaks other than those scheduled will be subject to review. If the improper break button is used, excessive breaks are taken, or the break schedule is not being followed appropriately disciplinary action may follow up to termination of contract. If you are ever unsure of which break button to use, please contact your talent advisor for clarification.
**If you leave for a break and realize you will be unable to continue your shift you
MUST
log out of Interpreter Connect immediately.**
Take the breaks as close as possible to the scheduled time. In the case that you are on a call and are not able to take the break at the scheduled times, you will be put into break immediately following the call.
Please note all schedules and breaks are based on our client’s needs, and we have clients and LEPs that are counting on you to adhere to your schedule.
