Mentor Training

Following your Interpreter training you will participate in Mentor Training sessions alongside your Interpreting shifts. You will be assigned a LLS Training mentor for the first 4 weeks following going live. These Mentor Training sessions will take place during the first hour of your first interpreting shift and will be scheduled in Deputy during the 4-week period. This hour-long shift will be scheduled in Deputy under Mentoring Training. INTs will log in for this one hour in Deputy and will log in for their interpreting shift immediately following.

Attendance to this training is mandatory. Leaves not pre-approved with your recruiter during the hiring process will not be able to be approved during this mentoring period.

Information from LLS Mentors will be sent to an INT's Rackspace email.

Information from your Kelly Talent Care Team and Spanish 30-Day Mentor will be sent to an INT's Personal Email.

It is extremely important to be monitoring both your personal and Rackspace email during and after training for information from our Kelly Team as well as your LLS Training Mentor.

Please see below for important information regarding how to log your shifts and the expectations for shifts moving forward.

Logging Your Shifts

The first hour of your first scheduled shift will be set in the Mentor Training location. If you hold a split shift this mentor training will be scheduled during your first shift only.

**All scheduled shifts can be seen in Deputy. You must review your Deputy schedule and follow the shifts as posted.**

Following the 1 hour of training you must log out of that 1-hour shift in Deputy, and then you must log in to your posted interpreting shift immediately after and on time. Please see the steps below:

1. Log in for your 1 hour Mentor Training shift in Deputy

  • This shift will show under the "Mentor Training" location.

2. After 1 hour you must log out of your Mentor Training shift in Deputy.

3. Log in immediately to your Interpreting shift in Deputy.

*Mentor Training shifts are scheduled specifically for you, so they cannot be offered. If you cannot work due to an emergency, please email 33UL to notify the team.*

You must stop working on your workday lessons after this 1 hour is completed. Lessons may not be worked on following this 1-hour period. Interpreting must begin immediately after completing the 1-hour Mentor Training shift.
