ASL Announcements

Below you will find important announcements our team would like to share with you! If you have any questions please reach out to 33UL@kellyservices.com!

October 7, 2024:

Scheduling Announcements:

  • We have now made an adjustment to allow ASL INTs to have more flexibility with their schedules by removing the 12-hour rest period requirement and the number of split shifts an INT can work in a day. Now ASL INTs can pick up open shifts at any point in the day for any timeframes. Please note we still do not allow any INT to work more than 40 hours per week, but the rest periods have now been adjusted.
  • ASL INTs do not need to email 33UL letting us know a shift has been added to their schedule unless there is a Deputy error with the shift showing properly or if the shifts need to be combined with a required break added. This means back-to-back shifts totaling 4 or more hours should be sent to 33UL, however any other additional picked up shifts do not need to be reported.
  • ASL INTs can now request partial leaves that will not count toward their allotted 15 leave days per calendar year.

To request a partial leave, you must email 33uL@kellyservices.com. In this email you must include the following:

The date and full shift time you will be requesting partial leave from (mm/dd ____ PST)

The hours out of the shift you can work that day (Can work ____ PST)

We do ask for 24-hour advance notice of any partial leaves so that we can adjust them in Deputy appropriately. If an INT is able to make up the hours by picking up an open shift, we do as that they do so, however this is not required.

Leave Announcements:

  • Our updated ASL Leave Policy can be found on our portal under the ASL Leave Policy Page here: ASL US Leave Policy (multiscreensite.com)
  • While all INTs are provided with 15 leave days to use per calendar year, we also want to remind talent that leaves exceeding the 15 days allotted can be reviewed for approval as long as advance notice is provided. Any ASL INT who has used all 15 of their allotted leave days for the calendar year that requests additional time off one month or more in advance can have their time off request reviewed for approval. Approval does remain at our talent care team’s discretion.

Break Announcements:

  • We are also actively working with LLS to find viable solutions regarding breaks for ASL INTs. We want to assure you we are in communication with their team, as well as our own timesheet team, to find solutions that best support all of you regarding breaks. As we receive updates from LLS, we will be sure to share any changes with all of you.

Mentor Announcements:

Many of you may know our teammate, Byron Caldwell. Byron is an ASL interpreter that has been assisting with training for new ASL interpreters joining our team. Byron has been amazing with assisting new and current talent with questions they have regarding the interpreting system and other interpretation specific questions. Byron has remained a friendly and helpful presence throughout training for new incoming ASL Interpreters, and we are so lucky to have him with us! If you ever have any questions regarding the interpreting system or any other interpreting questions, please let us know! We are happy to help you connect.

We are extremely grateful for all of the amazing feedback we have received from all of you. Finding ways to better support you all in the work you do is our top priority. If you have any questions, additional feedback, or concerns please email us at 33UL@kellyservices.com. We are here and happy to help! 😊
